Yes. The certificate and dossier show its catalogue identifier, coordinates and constellation. These are the same references used by public astronomical archives, so you can check them independently.
That is a reasonable question. A service should state precisely what it provides. A Star For You sells a symbolic dedication connected to a real, identifiable star; it does not sell ownership of the star or assign a scientific designation. Content, price and conditions are shown before payment, and the verification code lets anyone check the dedication afterwards.
No. The service does not transfer ownership of a celestial object. You buy a personalised dedication connected to a real star, the content included in the selected offer, and the record of that association in the A Star For You Private Registry.
No. The chosen name remains associated with the dedication in the A Star For You Private Registry, while astronomers continue to identify the star by its catalogue identifiers. Our documents show both without confusing them.
No. It records the private dedication, associated star, available astronomical data and verification code. It is not a title of ownership and does not alter the star’s scientific designation.
No subscription, renewal or mandatory recurring fee applies. The checkout total is the price of the selected offer, including VAT where applicable, plus any shipping shown before payment.
You can review and edit everything before payment. After confirmation, contact us immediately: we may still be able to intervene if documents have not been generated and production has not started. Seller errors remain covered by the applicable remedies.
Withdrawal may be excluded for personalised goods, digital content supplied immediately after the required express request and acknowledgement, and services fully performed after the customer requested an early start. Seller error, defects, damage and non-conformity are separate and remain covered by the terms of sale and statutory guarantee.

That depends on brightness, season, location and sky conditions. Visibility cannot be guaranteed for every time or place. The dossier states the magnitude and the guide suggests when and where to look and whether binoculars may be needed.

Each print is made to order from your dedication. Indicative production and delivery times are listed on the Shipping page, and tracking is emailed once dispatched.
Yes. The configurator uses the same layout system as the final documents so you can review your words first. The approved checkout summary and its cryptographic hash are retained as evidence.
An archive astronomical image is selected by a fixed rule and frozen on first issue. It is not a photograph taken on that date, and the document says so. Credit and provenance always accompany the image.
Yes. Memorial dedications start at the most protective privacy level. You can keep one private, make it accessible only with its code, or publish it, and change the setting later. Nothing is shared automatically.
For made-to-order goods, the right of withdrawal may be excluded under applicable consumer law. For digital content and the service, exclusion applies only under the conditions explained in the dedicated notice. Production defects and seller errors remain covered. The exact conditions and consent evidence for your order are shown before payment and retained with the order.
We collect the data needed to fulfil the order and create the dedication. Public verification never shows the buyer’s email, amounts or private account data. You choose the dedication privacy level. Retention details are in the Privacy Notice.
Every certificate contains a unique code and QR code. Entering the code on the verification page confirms the dedication and its connected star. What is displayed depends on the selected privacy level.
Contact us with the order number and, if possible, a photograph. For a printing error or production defect, we provide the applicable replacement or refund remedy without extra cost.
Yes. Enter billing details during checkout. The invoice is issued and sent by email with the order confirmation; contact us with the order number if a correction is needed.
