Yes. The certificate and dossier show its catalog identifier, coordinates and constellation. These are the same references used by public astronomical archives, so you can check them independently.

That is a reasonable question. A service should state precisely what it provides. A Star For You sells a symbolic dedication connected to a real, identifiable star; it does not sell ownership of the star or assign a scientific designation. Content, price and conditions are shown before payment, and the verification code lets anyone check the dedication afterwards.

No. The service does not transfer ownership of a celestial object. You buy a personalized dedication connected to a real star, the content included in the selected offer, and the record of that association in the A Star For You Private Registry.

No. The chosen name remains associated with the dedication in the A Star For You Private Registry, while astronomers continue to identify the star by its catalog identifiers. Our documents show both without confusing them.

No. It records the private dedication, associated star, available astronomical data and verification code. It is not a title of ownership and does not alter the star’s scientific designation.

No subscription, renewal or mandatory recurring fee applies. The checkout total is the price of the selected offer. Applicable sales tax is calculated from the state and ZIP code entered at checkout and shown before payment.

You can review and edit everything before payment. After confirmation, contact us immediately: we may still be able to intervene if documents have not been generated. Seller errors remain covered by the applicable remedies.

That depends on brightness, season, location and sky conditions. Visibility cannot be guaranteed for every time or place. The dossier states the magnitude and the guide suggests when and where to look and whether binoculars may be needed.

Documents are prepared after payment confirmation and made available for download; we email you as soon as they are ready. They also appear on the order page. Preparation time is not guaranteed. We email you as soon as the documents are available.

No. A Star For You sells digital products only, in the United States as everywhere else: we deliver files and do not ship a European print as a fallback. You can print the files yourself.

Yes. The configurator uses the same layout system as the final documents so you can review your words first. The approved checkout summary and its cryptographic hash are retained as evidence.

An archive astronomical image is selected by a fixed rule and frozen on first issue. It is not a photograph taken on that date, and the document says so. Credit and provenance always accompany the image.

Yes. Memorial dedications start at the most protective privacy level. You can keep one private, make it accessible only with its code, or publish it, and change the setting later. Nothing is shared automatically.

Cancellation eligibility depends on whether the personalized service or immediate digital delivery has already begun, as explained in the US Personalization and Cancellations notice and Terms of Sale. Seller errors and defective delivery remain covered separately.

We collect the data needed to fulfill the order and create the dedication. Public verification never shows the buyer’s email, amounts or private account data. You choose the dedication privacy level. Retention details are in the Privacy Notice.

Every certificate contains a unique code and QR code. Entering the code on the verification page confirms the dedication and its connected star. What is displayed depends on the selected privacy level.

Contact us with the order number and, if possible, a screenshot. For a generation error, a corrupted file or content that differs from the preview you approved, we reissue the document or provide the applicable remedy without extra cost.

Yes. The order confirmation records the amount, currency and payment status. If you need billing assistance, contact us with the order number.

Standard includes the private gift page with the photograph of the sky and four PDFs: a personalized certificate, astronomical dossier, sky map, and observation guide. Premium adds what stays after the gift is opened: the map poster in three formats (A3, 30×40, and 50×70 cm) to print wherever you like, wallpapers for phone and computer, downloads for the person who receives it, and the extended dossier, with the apparent constellation, observability through the year, and a glossary. The gift page, certificate, map, and guide are the same in both; the symbolic meaning of the dedication does not change.
