The Star of Remembrance symbolically connects a person’s name to a real star identified in a public astronomical catalogue. You receive one six-page memorial document presenting the chosen name and dates, transparent context about the star and its light, a scientific archive image of its sky region, and the words you provide. This is a separate offer: it does not include the astronomical dossier, sky map or observation guide supplied with the other dedications. The dedication remains private unless you choose otherwise and is recorded in the A Star For You Private Registry.
This is a symbolic dedication connected to a real catalogue star. It does not transfer ownership of the celestial object or alter its scientific designation.
